Career Insights For Teens, an interfaith youth ministry of New Castle Presbytery, is a proven career counseling program for high school juniors, seniors and second semester sophomores. Held on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the school year, and on successive weekdays during the summer, the program consists of two sessions designed to help teens learn more about their interests, abilities, personalities and values; their future career options; and which college majors and training opportunities would best prepare them to achieve their career goals.
The specific contents of these sessions are:
- Session I: Orientation, Student Profiling & Inventories (3 hours)
- Session II: Review & Interpretation of Inventories; Group Discussion; Shared Meal; One-on-One Counseling Session and Online Career Research (5 Hours)
High school juniors, seniors and second semester sophomores who want to learn more about their interests, abilities, values, and personality and how these gifts equip them for specific careers so they can make informed choices regarding their selection of college and college majors.
